Kane County Fair & Festival
Kane County Fairgrounds | 525 S. Randall Road, St. Charles
DATES: July 15 - 19, 2020
FEATURES: Wednesday is a FREE ADMISSION day! Admission and hours vary, but you can find a monster truck show, demolition derby, bull riding, live music, amusement rides, kid attractions, petting zoo, and MORE!

Thursday: $5; children under 3 FREE
Friday—Sunday: $10/adult; $5/children 3-12; FREE/children under 3

DATES: Thursdays in July & August
FEATURES: Hosted at the historic Kane County Courthouse, join car collectors as they gather together to show off their rides. The audience comes from near and far to bop to the music of the 50s while they ogle the beauties and vote for their favorite make and model.
Please note: The Chamber will decide by 3 p.m. on the day of the show to cancel the car show in the case of questionable weather conditions. Call the Chamber Office at (630) 232-6060 to check the status.
FEATURES: Bring the whole family to Peck Farm Park and have one last fun-filled day before school starts! There will be games and activities, nature crafts, a scavenger hunt, and a Birds of Prey presentation. Hawks Hollow Nature Playground and the Butterfly House will be open for your enjoyment.
FEATURES: Classic Car enthusiasts will view a beautiful collection of antique, classic, and modern automobiles. Participants from all over the Country displayed their prized automobiles on Third street, hoping to be awarded one of the coveted "Benz" Trophies.
1843 Durrant House | LeRoy Oakes Forest Preserve | 37W700 Dean Street, St. Charles
FEATURES: Join us for an afternoon of old-fashioned fun at our beautiful prairie farmhouse and grounds. Watch as the Durant House docents explain and demonstrate the art of pickling. Examples of the scrumptious undertaking will be presented in both the original 1840s Durant Hearth Room and the Victorian Kitchen added by Godfrey and Christina Peterson in the 1880s. Learn the process of this delicious aspect of history and enjoy an authentic day in the countryside!

ADMISSION: $3.00 for adults and $1.00 for children between the ages of 3 and 12 years.
FEATURES: St. Charles Jazz Weekend is a four-day event that coordinates and promotes live jazz music in different downtown establishments. An array of downtown St. Charles venues will take part. Patrons can enjoy jazz music from lunch through the evening, with the opportunity to visit multiple venues, including the 1st Street Plaza on both Saturday and Sunday afternoons.

FEATURES: Join us for a day full of fun and bugs! This annual FREE event has you searching for bugs from Lippold Park to Red Oak and all the stops along the way. A free shuttle takes you to and from the event if you park at Schneider School. Buggy presentations, visiting bug enthusiasts and much more await you at this year’s Bug Fest!
No registration required. Snacks, beverages, and other attractions will be available for a small fee. Additional parking is available at Schneider School.

FEATURES: Celebrate Labor Day weekend at the Downtown Batavia Block Party & Taste of Batavia. The party comes complete with awesome live music, a Classic Car Cruise Night, Pie Bake-off, enormous kid’s area and of course dancing!

FEATURES: One of South Elgin's most popular fests, you can find food vendors, carnival rides, fireworks, craft show, and car show. And on the Thursday before Riverfest officially begins, they invite all kiddos with special needs to enjoy the rides AND food on the house (all additional family members and caregivers must pay for ride and food)!
FEATURES: Elburn Days is the largest annual fundraiser for the Elburn Lions Park and Elburn Lions Charities. Live entertainment, food and drink sales, carnival rides, beer garden, parade, craft show, cook-offs, mud volleyball, and tractor pulls can all be found at this three-day fest!
FEATURES: Attendees of this annual festival experience everything from strawberry-infused creations like prime rib sandwiches slathered in strawberry salsa to classic strawberry pie-eating contests. For those who like to mix it up, chef-driven barbecue and other decadent local treats offer something for every taste bud. Strawberry Fest even has a classic carnival, multiple stages of live music, and the Kids Zone featuring enduring family activities at no charge.

FEATURES: The Festival features FREE Entertainment on three stages. We have great food prepared and served by volunteers, assisted by local community groups. There are many FREE Family events and Sports Activities along with Carnival rides and one of the largest Fourth of July Parades in the northwest suburbs. One of the Festival’s highlights is the Citizen’s with Disability Day when people with special needs and their immediate families are invited to come to a complimentary, fun-filled, event.
FEATURES: Ribfest is a fundraiser put on by the Exchange Club of Naperville to raise funds to help fight child abuse, domestic violence. Known for the great BBQ (especially ribs) and fantastic headliners, this is a festival not to be missed.
FEATURES: Take in the balloon race and enjoy “country elegant” accommodations only minutes from historic downtown Galena, IL. Tethered balloon rides and bounce houses make it fun for the kids. Wine tastings, Ale Fest, and great food make it fun for adults.
FEATURES: Craft Show, Car Show, Bags Tournament, Kids’ Bike and Wagon Parade, live entertainment, food vendors, 5K race/2 mile walk, and the Kid Zone, loaded with activities.
Fun Fest is a not-for-profit event, run completely by volunteers. Funds that we raise are mainly used to support the festival the following year, but we also purchase items for the village of Maple Park.
