DATE | October 1 - 31, 2020 from Dusk to 11:00p, though the BEST nights to view are Friday, October 18, and Saturday, October 19 due to LIVE ACTORS (this makes it a little more scary)
LOCATION | 39W260 Osage Drive, St. Charles
DETAILS | PARK YOUR CARS because this is a trail that you can walk through this home owner's property! There is a dimly lit path and several signs to guide you, but this family puts in SO MUCH TIME to give this to the community for FREE! It's even spookier on October 18 & 19 when there are live actors, making this like a haunted house!

DETAILS | Pack up the family for an evening out! Drive by several of the spookiest homes and admire the ghoulish yard displays of St. Charles’ finest home haunters. Some displays may not be appropriate for all ages. Parents, please use your discretion…only the brave should exit their cars! Please be courteous and respect the homeowners’ rights and property during your adventure.

DETAILS | This interactive yard haunt features custom made props and spooky Halloween decor! On specified nights (click link below), you can expect to see live actors! This display is wheelchair-friendly! Because this is a FREE walk-through for the community, the family is collecting donations for Animal House Shelter in Huntley, found at the "Coffin For A Cause" in the family's yard.

LOCATION | BACK OF THE HOUSE ALONG FOX RIVER BIKE TRAIL, South of Fabyan on Rt. 31
DETAILS | People can park at the Fabyan Villa parking lot and walk south, under Fabyan bridge. This year is a tribute to the 1998 Tim Burton movie, "Mars Attacks". There is no movement, so it isn't scary for the littles! Thanks to Toni & Bill G. for this amazing display!

DETAILS | Let's see Batavia's scary and frightening house decorations in our second annual Halloween House Decorating Contest. We will be awarding prizes for overall theme and people's choice. All displays will be judged on Wednesday, October 21st between 5:00-9:00 pm. Addresses published officially before judging using the link below.

DETAILS | On Saturday, October 26 from 4:30p - Dusk, there will be a FREE Halloween Carnival and Costume Contest! It is a family-friendly event, BYOB for those that are 21+, and there will be hot dogs, cotton candy, raffles, popcorn, and beverages! It is an outdoor maze with video screens, music, animatronics, fog machines, strobes, motion sensors, and fire Marshall certified. Basically a Psycho Circus
DETAILS | There is no animation or spooky sounds and lights, but this is a really neat display of over 90+ skeletons that continues to grow each year! Get out of your car and take pictures as you'll want to check out all the skeletons!
DETAILS | Halloween Town has been recognized by The Daily Herald , The Northwest Herald , and ABC 7 News as a must see home for the Halloween season. Scary sounds and lightning effects create a Halloween display that will keep you on your toes and always looking behind you.
