DETAILS: Holiday Lights at Mooseheart is one of Chicagoland’s largest light displays! The lighted route is approximately 1.8 miles and has more than 80 lighted displays to view. Updates to this year's show: * We will not be having Silly Moose or Count Frosty contests * Suggested donation per car is $20 (no exchanging of money) * For safety reasons, Santa will not be on campus this year, but be sure to drop off your letter to Santa in the Tommy Moose Mailbox!

DETAILS: Keep the family tradition of attending Celebration of Lights by viewing the tree lighting ceremony virtually on Batavia Access Television (BATV). Watch from the comfort of your home as the Riverwalk lights up for the first time this holiday season with a message from Mayor Shielke, a 'visit' from Santa Claus, highlights of Christmas Tree Lane presented by Northwestern Medicine's All of Us Research Program, and a message from some special Batavia guests!

DETAILS: Presented in partnership between the Rotary Club of Aurora and the City of Aurora, this signature winter event is a drive through of more than one mile of spectacular lighted displays at Phillips Park, Aurora, IL 60505. We have new displays every year – come see the new dancing arcs and the expanded Ice Rink. You will also enjoy Santa’s Toy Factory, Old Man Winter, elves and reindeer, holiday trains, gigantic snowflakes, beautiful lighted swags on the fence line surrounding the zoo and other seasonal favorites.

DETAILS: Scott Poppen built this display so his community had a place to bring their children to enjoy the lights and get into the Christmas Spirit. His goal is for people to bring their families and collect monetary donations to raise money to benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Any donation will help make an impact.

DETAILS: Several homes participate and definitely worth the visit when you leave Juniper Lane. The houses here have teamed up to collect non-parishable food for All The People's Food Pantry in Elgin. They are accepting monetary donations as well and that money will go towards purchasing food for the Food Pantry.

DETAILS: The holidays may look different this year, but in Downtown Naperville, Naperville Sunrise Rotary’s NaperLights holiday display will make the season even brighter as it expands its location along Water Street overlooking the south side of the Riverwalk. Visitors can access the display from the Webster Street covered bridge, Main Street and Webster Street. Strollers can enjoy the outdoors with public parking is available in the Water Street and Municipal Center parking decks. Lights on Water Street tress will be synced to music, as will the arch on the Foyo Plaza, making a drive-through experience for those wishing to stay in their cars.

DETAILS: This year, ZooLights will follow City and State guidelines to ensure a safe experience that allows social distancing. Tickets will cost $5 per guest to support Lincoln Park Zoo’s dedication to wildlife and conservation. All guests, including children and infants, must have a ticket to enter ZooLights, and groups cannot exceed 10 people. Please dress warmly, as animal buildings will be closed; however, animals may be visible in their outdoor habitats. Free Nights: November 24 and December 9, 17, 21, and 29. These days will offer the same exciting holiday experience and tickets are still required, but they will be complimentary. These tickets will be released the Sunday prior to each date at 4 p.m.

DETAILS: Christmas 2020 will certainly be very different for all of us, but at Illinois Railway Museum, the "Museum In Motion" will keep on rolling with a modified Holiday event: "HHR: The Holiday Light Experience" Join us for a ride on a heated streetcar around the grounds, which will be festively decorated for the season. After taking in the sights around the campus, you can stroll the grounds, see the trains and take photos, but don't forget to stop by our diner building to see the model trains and Christmas tree on display and pick up your souvenir mug filled with goodies you can enjoy at home. Of course, you can't have a Holiday event without the big guy himself, and Santa WILL be here, meeting and posing for photos, but in a socially-distant manner so as not to bring anything back to the North Pole...After all, he can't afford to have the elves in the workshop get sick just as toy production hits high gear!
