DETAILS: Hops for Hope 5K is a twist on the traditional 5K! The event is timed and the course is certified, whether you are a runner or walker this event is for you. You can take a casual stroll with your friends and sip on beer samples throughout the course, or you can run to get your best time and skip the beer stops (discounted price) or chug your beer and go.
The Award Ceremony will feature a live band, more beer, food and Adaptive Bike Giveaway Presentation.
*All runners must be 21 years or older and show a valid ID day of the race.
DETAILS: Teams will compete in physical and mental challenges. Using clues, teams will race around St. Charles performing tasks that require brainstorming, communication, strategy, and teamwork. Register as a RECREATION or COMPETITIVE TEAM for this 5K!
DETAILS: Walk or run 1 mile on your own with adult supervision 25 times over the summer. Record your mileage and color in our mileage log sheets. Then, on Race Day (September 21), come pick up your race bib and race shirt, and run your final 1.2 miles with hundreds of other kids, and get your finish medal.
DETAILS: The Progressive Marathon is a great choice for a beginning runner (age 15+) aiming for that first 26.2, or an experienced runner looking for a casual race experience. That’s the beauty of the Progressive Marathon. It’s the marathon for EVERYONE! Complete 25 miles on YOUR OWN TIME, then complete the last 1.2 on FOX VALLEY MARATHON RACE DAY (September 22)!
DETAILS: In honor of Special Olympics Illinois, this event is held at the home of your Cougars, Northwestern Medicine Field. Participants will see themselves on the videoboard as they cross the finish line at home plate. Register by May 10 to guarantee yourself a commemorative Cougars 5K race t-shirt. Following the race, participants 21 and older can enjoy a complimentary beer while all participants will receive their choice of a celebratory brat or hot dog along with other post-race snacks.
COST: FREE, but please bring a non-perishable item or paper product for the Batavia Food Pantry.
DETAILS: The Healthy Kids Running Series is a five week running program for kids from Pre-K to 8th grade. Each Race Series takes place once a week and offers age appropriate running events including the 50 yard dash, 75 yard dash, the 1/4 mile, the 1/2 mile and the one mile run. Kids compete each week of the Series for a chance to earn points and at the end of the Series the top boy and girl with the most points in their respective age division receive a trophy. It doesn't matter how fast or slow you run because all participants receive a medal and gift bag for their achievements courtesy of our sponsors!

DETAILS: This is our 19th year of putting this amazing event on that has exposed the sport of triathlon to thousands of youth. Ben Kanute, 2016 RIO Olympian in Triathlon, did his first triathlon at this race! Come on out and give your children the gift of exercise by having them participate in this fun event!
DETAILS: Save-A-Joe 5K is a 5K walk/run to support the mission of Save-A-Joe Veteran Charities. The local communities in the Fox Valley help our Veterans with Education, Housing, Therapy, and Finances. The mission of Save-A-Joe, Inc. is to partner with our local small businesses, corporate sponsors, and our community members to raise money to assist these veteran service organizations. One Hundred Percent of all proceeds will be donated to two organizations this year, one which fights veteran homelessness and the other that carries out “Operation Sweet Tooth” for deployed armed forces.
