The foodie 5k

DETAILS: Enjoy scenic views on a certified 5K course through the park followed by a fun, family-friendly festival featuring food trucks, a Kid's Zone, and entertainment. Participants receive a $2 food truck voucher, a swag bag with sponsor giveaways, an exclusive medal and a Foodie 5K t-shirt (must register before shirt deadline to receive t-shirt)!
COST: $45 for all participants aged 13+, $25 for youth aged 6 – 12, $0 for children aged 0 – 5, $15 for optional Kid’s Dash following the 5K
DETAILS: Teams will compete in physical and mental challenges. Using clues, teams will race around St. Charles performing tasks that require brainstorming, communication, strategy, and teamwork. Register as a RECREATION or COMPETITIVE TEAM for this 5K!
DETAILS: Throughout the 5K there will be Refueling Stations (Beer Stops) featuring local craft breweries handing out 3-ounce beer samples to runners. Throughout the 5K you will sample 6 different craft beers. At the Awards Ceremony you will be able to receive 2 pints of your favorite craft beer you sampled throughout the 5K.

DETAILS: Walk or run 1 mile on your own with adult supervision 25 times over the summer. Record your mileage and color in our mileage log sheets. Then, on Race Day (September 21), come pick up your race bib and race shirt, and run your final 1.2 miles with hundreds of other kids, and get your finish medal.
DETAILS: Runners, walker, families with strollers…all are welcome! There’s no better way to end a race than right at home plate. Participants will receive a high-five from Ozzie and Annie during the final turn while getting a look at themselves on the video board as they cross the finish line. Proceeds from this year's race will benefit the many charitable programs of the Kane County Cougars Baseball Foundation, Inc.

DETAILS: The Healthy Kids Running Series is a five week running program for kids from Pre-K to 8th grade. Each Race Series takes place once a week and offers age appropriate running events including the 50 yard dash, 75 yard dash, the 1/4 mile, the 1/2 mile and the one mile run. Kids compete each week of the Series for a chance to earn points and at the end of the Series the top boy and girl with the most points in their respective age division receive a trophy. It doesn't matter how fast or slow you run because all participants receive a medal and gift bag for their achievements courtesy of our sponsors!

DETAILS: The Hope for Haitians Board of Directors welcomes all individuals, couples and families to join us in Geneva, Illinois for a morning of good food, fast running, comfortable walking and a great time during the Ninth Annual 5K. This year we are raising funds to build a school in Garde Saline, Haiti.
COST: $25 for participants 13 and older (12 and under are FREE)

DETAILS: This is our 20th year of putting this amazing event on that has exposed the sport of triathlon to thousands of youth. Ben Kanute, 2016 RIO Olympian in Triathlon, did his first triathlon at this race! Come on out and give your children the gift of exercise by having them participate in this fun event!
DETAILS: Save-A-Joe 5K is a 5K walk/run to support the mission of Save-A-Joe Veteran Charities. The local communities in the Fox Valley help our Veterans with Education, Housing, Therapy, and Finances. The mission of Save-A-Joe, Inc. is to partner with our local small businesses, corporate sponsors, and our community members to raise money to assist these veteran service organizations. One Hundred Percent of all proceeds will be donated to two organizations this year, one which fights veteran homelessness and the other that carries out “Operation Sweet Tooth” for deployed armed forces.
